ALL MY FRIENDS BEACH FOSSILS POSADA
December 2011. Turista Libre teams up with local promoters All My Friends for a posada (aka an Xmas party of full-fledged Mexican proportions) starring NYC indie cariños Beach Fossils, plus Tijuana bands Ibi Ego, Jablonsky and Inkjet and San Diego’s Tropical Popsicle. Full-fledged Mexican proportions included tamales, buñuelos (colloquial seasonal doughnuts so to speak), hot punch and, of course, piñatas. Props to Daniel Peña for the video. More tours.
